Hurling
St Jarlath’s College field teams at senior, junior and a combined 1st/2nd year level competing in the Connacht Championship. The majority of players come from the local Sylane and Tuam Hurling clubs. The junior hurlers reached the Connacht final in 2016 and the 1st/2nd years reached the Connacht semi-final in 2018. In 2018 senior hurler Keelan Creaven won an All-Ireland with the Galway Minor hurling team and several players are involved in Galway development panels.
