"Tree Huggers"

"Tree Huggers"

Our second TY Environmental Studies group have been busy putting finishing touches to their biodiversity projects titled ‘Tree Huggers’. This involved the planting of trees, some 350 saplings & raising awareness. Thanks to GreenBeltForestry Ireland and in particular Michael Moroney for providing the saplings and advice. Students were able to plant Oak, Birch, Walnut, Mountain Alder and Ravan trees. Well done to Ms Keane, Ms Connie Burke and to our tree planters @ECOUNESCO @BioDataCentre @WorldWise_Irl @stjarlaths @GreenSchoolsIre
