On Thursday, September 26th the annual Opening of the Year Mass was celebrated in Tuam Cathedral. It is a special occasion to pray God’s blessing on the school community for the year to come.
Congrats to Fr. Shane Sullivan, chief celebrant, to Ms. Cannon and Ms. Burke for directing the splendid choir. To Ms. Feerick and Ms Burke for organising the Mass and to all the many students and staff who participated in so many ways and prayed devoutly and behaved so well during the Mass. The school president Mr. John Kelly proclaimed the word of God in the first reading while the second reading was read by the procurator. Repeat student, Joseph Gormally recited a poem as a post communion reflection.
